December 17, 2013 by 24/7 in France French Riviera dreamin’ on such a winter’s day In case you haven’t yet visited the French Riviera, here’s where I live – a dream-come-true paradise all year ’round! Where do you call home? Share this:FacebookEmailLinkedInTumblrMoreTwitterLike this:Like Loading...
Hi Kim Enjoy the blog, brings a bit of French sunshine into a grey North Wales though today is clear and frosty, just the weather for a good walk. Pictured is St Peter’s Square, in Ruthin, in the Vale of Clwyd and the Castle Hotel, the red brick Georgian property in the picture is where Charles Darwin was staying on a fossil-hunting expedition when he received the invitation to join the Beagle. Best Alistair
Merci, Alistair – the Georgian homes I saw in Dublin were pretty, too. Wishing you a happy holiday season and all the best for 2014!
Wow! Such an impressive blend of traditional and high-tech. And so beautiful!!
Thanks – the current Mayor has done a great job in adding to the city’s new and improved look.
I’m in Cumbria in the UK, a very beautiful part of the country, but not as sunny as lovely Nice! Enjoyed your post, it made me nostalgic, I hope to go back to Nice next year.:)
I will be traveling to London soon for the first time – always exciting to discover new travel adventures. Hope you can come back to Nice again and enjoy the new Promenade park!
Next summer we’ll visit French Riviera!
Thanks, Sartenada – Will it be your first visit? There certainly is a lot to do and summer is a very busy time here!
