Solitary Desire would be my choice if I win. I think it would be wonderful to follow my dream a move to the ocean or the sea.
Thanks for commenting.
I think I would opt for Sun, Sea & Savoir-Faire as I am trying to write a little travel fiction myself!
Thanks – SS & S is an insider’s guidebook, not fiction, so please feel free to stick with it or change your selection, if inclined (sorry for the misunderstanding).
Soleil, mer et savoir faire parce que j’ai déjà lu l’autre.
Merci, Anne Marie.
Solitary Desire for sure. Read the excerpts and so many connections with my own life. A mother who made me take typing (even though I eventually got a Ph.D.)…oh, ye of little faith. An early fascination with France and the language…coming from that same mother! And passing the love of France on to my daughter and granddaughters. To hear my four-year-old granddaughter rattling on in perfectly accented French is the ultimate proof that dreams can be fulfilled, even if they unfold over several generations.
Merci – yes, it takes time to realize one’s dream. It’s a wonderful asset for your granddaughter to be bi-lingual – felicitations!
I would love a copy of Solitary Desire, seems you have lived the dream many of us have and I would love to read about it!
Thanks, Sue.
Solitary Desire!! I read EVERYTHING written about France, and especially about women in France. I one day want to travel in France myself and study it like it’s my bread and butter. I may even open a blog that talks about all the resources coming from France in the form of blogs and books etc. One step at a time!! 🙂
Merci, Shannon – never give up your France dream!
